 Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform Data Engineer functions by use of PetroVisor®, develop data process models, including sourcing, loading, transformation, and extraction.
• Map data between source systems, data warehouse and data lakes.
• Consult with users, management, and technicians to assess requirements to implement data models and structure data in ready-for-business consumption formats.
• Understand and work with many data types including relational, historian and SCADA.
• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, including automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and data quality checks.
• Use PetroVisor® for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources including SQL.
• Assist and create visualizations of data in Power BI.
• Work with other data engineers, data ingestion specialists, and subject matter experts across the company to standardize methodologies.

Education and/or Experience:

• Proven experience in a customer interactive role, engaging directly with customers through the project lifecycle
• Demonstratable project management leadership experience highly desired
• Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in data engineering.
• Of the required experience, must have experience with the following: Assembling large data sets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements; Automating manual processes; Optimizing data delivery; data quality checks; Writing data models, technical standards and guidelines, investigations and recommendations, presentations and briefings, and meta-data catalogs for business and technical use.
• Oil & Gas domain experience preferred but NOT required.

 Duties/Responsibilities:

Phase 0: Pre-kickoff:

• Own the proposal review process and build the implementation scope, estimate, timeline for the project.
• Get introduced to the customer and establish as the primary point of contact for all Datagration related communication from an implementation standpoint.
• Working with the sales team, establish the project approach, priority of delivery of apps, success criteria. Communicate the same with the customer and get alignment.
• Own all Rocket Lane related activities – set up project, assign resources, etc
• Conduct a pre-kick off meeting with the customer poc and walk them through the project plan, success criteria, customer responsibilities, sign-off process, SDD, etc.
• Identify all stakeholders on the customer side and conduct a stakeholder analysis – interest, influence, and engagement.

Phase 1: Initiation:

• Prepare and lead the official project kick-off meeting.
• Project Manage the “Data discovery – connectivity and validation” activity of this phase.
• This includes ensuring the customer provides access, credentials, and poc/champion for each data source in a timely manner.
• Schedule working sessions with each poc/champion for each data source for data discovery.
• Ensure the Implementation Engineer is progressing through this phase as per the project plan.

Phase 2: Design:

• Schedule Data mapping workshop session(s) and Dashboard workshop session(s) with the SME/champion/owners of each dashboard.
• Ensure the Implementation Engineer is completing the following activities as per the project plan.
  • Data Mapping
  • Dashboard design
  • Solution Design Document (SDD)
• Based on the design sessions and (any) changes to the original scope, re-estimate the project timeline and share with the customer
• Get sign-off from the customer on the scope, timeline and SDD to start Phase 3 – Build

Phase 3: Build:

• Ensure the Implementation Engineer is completing the following activities as per the project plan.
  • Data Integration
  • Workflow Build
  • Configure/Build Dashboard
• Ensure that the 4 – Step Dashboard building best practices are utilized for building the dashboard.
• Ensure that a tester is identified, and all QA/QC steps are being followed as defined in Rocketlane.
• Ensure that the Implementation Engineer is updating the SDD to keep it current. Share the SDD with the Customer Success Lead (CS Lead).
• Schedule iterative Dashboard review session(s) with the SME/champion/owners of each dashboard
• Ensure that the CS Lead is invited for all Dashboard review sessions.
• Schedule an official KT session between the Implementation Engineer and the CS Lead

Phase 4: Delivery and Sign-off

• Schedule Dashboard review sessions with customer stakeholders
• Update Feedback Log to reflect customer feedback, estimate the work, identify in/out of scope items, and deliver the feedback log to customer.
• Ensure feedback items are built, QA/QC’d, and delivered to the customer in an iterative agile manner.
• Ensure the delivered solution meets the original scope + any change request scope. Work with account manager on customer acceptance/sign-off approach
• Get customer acceptance and sign-off.

Phase-5: Training and Ongoing Support:

• Transition the project/customer to DG CS Lead
• Act as a stakeholder for the remaining activities of this phase – User training, Hyper care, ongoing training, and support as needed.

Education and/or Experience:

• Proven experience in a customer interactive role, engaging directly with customers through the SaaS project lifecycle.
• Experienced Project Management professional who has proven track record in managing large and complex Implementation projects within a SaaS organization
• Be able to work independently, possess good organizational skills to work in a team environment, and be able to meet agreed goals and deliverables. Troubleshoots and resolves complex problems.
• Proven record of effectively designing and scoping a complex project; able to apply creative and innovative thinking to bring successful resolution to high-impact, complex problems.
• Act as a senior resource for Datagration, responsible for managing client communication at all stakeholder levels.
• Interact extensively with sales, customer success, solutions development, product, and other members of cross-functional teams within Datagration.
• Act as a mentor for other project managers and project team members as required.
• Minimum 7 years of hands-on Project Management experience.
• Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Oil & Gas, Energy domain experience preferred.

As a Senior Solution Developer, you are a critical part of the Development team. You will build new functionality using the EcoVisor and PetroVisor platform to be deployed to our customer base. This includes new data models, workflows, and application logic. In addition, you will work closely with SMEs on the creation and implementation of enhancement and development, keeping up to date on industry trends and technology developments.
