Amber Howard Senior Vice President of ESG

 

Amber Howard is an advisor to Datagration's executive team. Her remit encompasses advisory to the company’s ESG efforts, platform enhancements, and engagements. She is focused on helping companies create business value by managing risks and opportunities related to a variety of sustainability and ESG topics through data-driven analysis and insights utilizing Datagration’s unified data model.

Prior to joining Datagration, Amber worked as an independent ESG and sustainability consultant for a variety of industries, including oil and gas, retail, transportation, and others. In this role, she helped companies build out their ESG programs focusing on strategy development, risk management, transparency, and reporting. Notable clients include both private and public companies across multiple industry segments, including large multinational Fortune 500 companies. Prior to that, Amber worked for ExxonMobil overseeing the development and execution of their annual sustainability report and helping define and execute their overall sustainability strategy. Before joining the energy industry, Amber managed a large communications team at the U.S. Agency for International Development, which is responsible for supporting the U.S. Government response to natural and conflict-related disasters around the world. She was deployed to Libya, Pakistan, Ethiopia, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, Haiti, and the Philippines.

Amber obtained a bachelor’s degree from Southwestern University where she graduated with honors, and a master’s degree from Georgetown University. Amber currently resides in Houston, Texas, with her husband and twin daughters.
