January 2024 Updates

Dashboards

• Datagration Dashboards:  When you make updates to the Context, Entity, or Scope, it will automatically update the cards that rely on data views and P# scripts.

• Power BI Dashboards
  • A helpful tooltip will appear when you hover over the "Entity Filters" button. This tooltip displays the currently selected entity set, providing you with valuable information at a glance.

• • Now you can easily select entities on a map and instantly apply that filter to all the other pages of your dashboard. This new feature allows for seamless navigation and filtering across your entire dashboard.

• • An update has been made to the Web Dashboard Access permission. A new permission called Dashboard Access has been added, specifically designed to manage Access Settings. There are now three separate permissions for dashboards: Dashboard (Datagration), Power BI, and Dashboard Data.

Data

• Now you can save the data from a data view to a Scenario, allowing for more efficient data management and analysis.

Develop

• Enhanced search functionality now allows for searching within Python scripts. This improvement enables users to easily locate specific information or code snippets within their scripts, enhancing efficiency and productivity.

Workflows

• The calendar has been updated to ensure that items are displayed in their correct positions. This improvement enhances the accuracy and usability of the calendar feature.

• A new improvement has been made to the Schedules tab. Now, the description and label management options have been moved to the overflow menu, making it consistent with the layout of other pages. This enhancement provides a more streamlined and organized experience when managing schedules.

Logs

• A new enhancement has been made to the time feature, where you can now hover over it to see the workspace time. This improvement allows for easier access to the workspace time information.

Entities

• The order of tags has been updated to align with the end date. Ongoing takes will now be displayed first in alphabetical order, followed by inactive tags in descending order of end date. This change ensures a more organized and intuitive arrangement of tags.

• Now, the accordion list can be previewed without the need to keep it on the screen the entire time. By hovering over the button, a preview of the items will appear, allowing you to easily select one. This improvement enhances usability and provides a more efficient way to navigate through the list.

Signals

• Enumeration option on the Signals detail page has been eliminated.
