The Datagration dashboards offer a wide range of capabilities, including the ability to sort the dashboard, customize chart styles, and utilize new dashboard types such as maps and websites.

Analyze

Dashboards

  • Enhanced the P# cards functionality, allowing users to customize the chart style and save it with the card for future reference.

  • Enhanced the Data View cards to provide a variety of viewing options including Tables, Charts, and Stats for better data visualization.

  • When adding a new card, you now have the option to include a Map feature. This will display a map on the card, and the entities shown on the map will automatically update based on your selection using the top controls of Context or Entities.

  • Included a feature to add a website link when creating a new card.

  • Users now have the ability to directly create a data view from within the Datagration dashboards.

Map

  • Implemented the feature to filter the Signal list based on labels.

  • Excludes entities with a longitude/latitude of (0,0) from the map zoom feature to ensure a more focused view.
  • Eliminated the cutting off of Entity labels to ensure that the entire name is visible.

  • When hovering over Time Signal Data, the date of the latest stored value will be displayed. This helps provide context on when the data was last updated.

  • Values have been included at the bottom of the gradient scale for easier reference.

  • Ability to show maps in 2D view without extrusion.
  • Users now have the option to include extra signals in the hover-over tooltip for an entity, which can be accessed in the Settings section.

  • When selecting specific entities, such as an "entity set," the map will automatically zoom in to display only those chosen entities on the map for a more detailed view.

Chart

  • Enhanced the user interface design on the Axes tab, providing a more intuitive and user-friendly layout for easier navigation and customization of chart axes.

  • The chart options have been revamped to align more closely with the layout and design of our other pages, providing a consistent user experience throughout the platform.

  • Completed the redesign of the Chart options, including the Data tab enhancements.

Build

Develop

  • Added a new feature in P# Scripts called "Return results" under the Save option. This feature allows you to run the script and gives you the choice to view the results or not. This is useful when you are updating data and don't necessarily need to see the results table.

  • Included the option to add arguments for Python scripts, allowing for more customization and flexibility in script execution.

  • When you insert the 'Saving "Table Name"' snippet, the editor will automatically retrieve all columns from the RefTable and display them in the first section, while pulling all columns from the P# script table and showcasing them in the second section.
  • Users now have the convenience of directly adding a P# script to dashboards from the develop page. This feature can be easily accessed under the Save button.

Workflows

  • Added the ability to integrate Python scripts into a workflow for enhanced automation and efficiency.

Logs

  • Implemented a permission for Logs to restrict access to the Logs navigation menu item for enhanced security and control.

Data Model

Signals

  • Users now have the ability to easily rename signals within the system for improved organization and clarity. It is important to exercise caution when making name changes, especially if the signal is part of packages.
