Frederico Justus Executive Vice President of Eastern Hemisphere

 

Frederico Justus is a mechanical and industrial engineer who graduated from the UTFPR/Brazil in 1998. After a short tenure with Siemens, he joined Schlumberger in Q1-98 as a field engineer trainee. His tenure at Schlumberger lasted for 12 years, with operational and management roles in South America, North America, and Asia. In 2009, he had a sabbatical year when he specialized in Strategic Marketing (Stanford), Integrated Reservoir Management (Imperial College of London and Institute of French Petroleum), and Project Management (Gatwick Project Management Center UK) before he joined Weatherford in 2010.

With a proven track record of successful results, he stepped up the ladder in Weatherford from Area Manager-Central Europe, then Vice-President Continental Europe, Europe and Caspian, Sub-Sahara Africa, Mid-East, Mid-East and Africa, and finally being in charge of all geographies worldwide, including North America, Latin America and Russia, as President of Regional Operations based in Switzerland. In 2017, with the arrival of a new CEO, he was re-assigned as President of the Eastern Hemisphere, just before jumping into a whole transformation project with McKinsey (2018/20). As a result, in May of 2020, after his successful tenure as President of the Eastern Hemisphere, he was promoted to President of International Operations, adding back Latin America, his last assignment with Weatherford. Since March 2022, Frederico has served as Executive Vice-President for Datagration in the Eastern Hemisphere & Brazil, based in Abu Dhabi, with the ultimate mission to support the industry's digitalization efforts, which are improving the way energy companies operate.
